Comedy Night feat. Comrade Tripp, Alicia Kismet & Andy Duong - March 26, 2026 - $10 Cover

Comrade Tripp is one of the saddest standup comedians in Minnesota, and he wants you to know it. Born and raised in Saint Cloud, Minnesota; a city as large as it is small. Comrade successfully escaped to Minneapolis which is marginally better, he has also found another home here on the internet, which is several margins better. His brand of dark humor fits well in the ecosystems of the algorithms. Despite his despondent disposition, he’s a child at heart; insomuch that he cannot be trusted to take care of himself and has no self esteem whatsoever. The rest of his body is very old. Comrade has been featured in the Star Tribune, and was named Growler Magazine’s Comics To Watch 2020. He is a co-producer of the award winning Uproar Performing Arts collective and has been a featured performer of the 10K Laughs Festival and the Fargo Comedy Festival. He was also the runner up in House of Comedy’s Funniest Person with a Day Job Contest & Sisyphus Brewing’s Funniest Person in Minneapolis Contest, twice, he has never won anything in his life.

Alicia Eler (they/she) is a writer, arts journalist and culture critic. She is the author of The Selfie Generation: How Our Self-Images are Changing Our Notions of Privacy, Property, Sex, Consent and Culture. Chicago Tribune called the book “fascinating, provocative, entertaining and enlightening,” and the New York Times noted that “Eler’s book alights on the source of the selfie’s power . . . Perhaps our much-fussed-over narcissism is not a flaw but a survival tactic.” The Washington Post and New York Magazine named Alicia “the selfie expert.” Alicia is an early digital adopter, and was one of the first writers to write extensively about the selfie in a pre-Snapchat, pre-TikTok era. The book received international praise from the BBC to the Sydney Morning Herald. Alicia also does standup comedy under the name Alicia Kismet. The Sahan Journal named one of 5 diverse comedians to watch, and Minnesota Comedy wrote a feature story about Alicia’s journey as a queer, non-binary, Turkish comedian. Alicia also hosts and co-produces a unique art-comedy show called Laugh & Draw, where artists figure draw live standup comedians as they tell jokes and hold poses. Minnesota Comedy wrote about that, too!

Andy Duong is a Minneapolis based comic and is a paid regular at Acme Comedy Company. He was the winner of the “Funniest Person in the Twin Cities” contest and was named as a “Twin Cities Comic to Watch” by Racket Minnesota. He has opened for names such as Joe List, Chad Daniels, Beth Stelling, Ian Bagg, Aaron Chen, plus others. Andy has been performing standup in the Twin Cities since 2021 and has performed at venues all around Minnesota as well as other parts of the Midwest and West Coast.

Comedy Night feat. Rebecca Wilson, Ahmed Khalaf & Elise Cole - January 29, 2026 - $10 Cover

Rebecca Wilson is a stand up comic, actor and writer born and raised in Atlanta, GA with years spent living in Minneapolis, MN and Denver, CO that have shaped her creativity and provided her with a holistic view of the country. Her southern charm mixed with her dry, quick wit creates an engaging act focusing on her cosmic punishment of being attracted to men, family dynamics and the absurdities within human relationships. Rebecca’s style of comedy is honesty and vulnerability matched with hard-hitting punchlines.

Rebecca has opened for Pete Holmes, Hari Kondabolu, Pauly Shore and Lisa Ann Walter for sold out crowds. She is a regular at Helium Comedy Club Atlanta & Laughing Skull Lounge and has taken her sweet, yet warped world view to the following comedy festivals: Madison Comedy Week 2022-2024, Manitou Comedy Festival 2023-2024 and the 2025 Last Word Comedy Festival.

Santiago Garcia has been trying to make people laugh since he could talk. A Minneapolis based comic, he was a finalist in the House of Comedy's funniest person contest and has performed comedy all over the country. Whether he's taking note of life's absurdities or commenting on his family's lunacy, he'll irreverently urge you to accept reality while keeping things silly. Santi (for short) frequents Minneapolis comedy favorites such as the Comedy Corner Underground, Sisyphus Brewing, and Volstead’s Emporium. He'll probably do an accent.

Elise Cole is an Iranian-Jewish comedian from Minnesota, and 2018-2019 co-producer of the Minneapolis based showcase, People Of Comedy. She was a 2019 semifinalist in Rick Bronson's House of Comedy contest, and opened for NPR's Ophira Eisenberg at the 10th Annual Twin Cities Jewish Humor Festival. Elise is a wife, mother, waitress, grad student, and published writer who finds humor in the challenges she faces in her day-to-day life.

Luke Pauling is a Minneapolis-based comic who was just looking for an excuse to leave his apartment. Cue to today, he’s gone from appreciating stand up comedy from the sidelines to writing and rewriting jokes on his boss's dime. Soon after starting comedy, Luke became a finalist in ACME’s Funniest Person in Minneapolis, House of Comedy's Funniest Person with a Day Job, as well as Comedy Corner Underground’s Funniest Person in Time and Space contests, as well as opened for acts such as Dave Waite and SNL’s Tommy Brennan. Luke’s been able to find humor in digging through the awkward moments of his childhood and Catholic upbringing, and can be found sharing those less-than-stellar experiences all around the Midwest.
